Opsi-Client-Agent.msi

Hallo

ich versuche gerade die Opsi-Client-Agent.msi bei unseren Rechnern zu verteilen. Allerdings kommt beim testen der Installationsroutine schon vorher immer dieser Fehler:
"Dieses Installationspaket konnte nicht geöffnet werden. Lassen Sie den Hersteller der Anwendung überprüfen, ob es sich um ein gültiges Windows Installer-Paket handelt."

Ich habe genau das gleiche auch über einen Rechner versucht der nicht über unsere Domain geht, da kommt dieser Fehler auch.
Auch habe ich schon die MSI geändert über ORCA und die Installationsroutine eingetragen, aber da auch nichts mit Installation.

Alternativ habe ich versucht die oca-installation-helper.exe zu nehmen, aber auch diese generiert einen Fehler:
"Failed to extract Pythin310.sdll:decompression resulted in Retunr code -3!"

opsi-client-agent version ist die 4.2.0.129

How are you calling the installer? Maybe it's an issue with path names, or that there are no rights to the file.
Have you tried copying it to a local directory and starting it from there?

i have called it from local, to test it, but the same Problem occurs.
Called in CLI (admin) msiexec /i opsi-client-agent.msi

So let's say you copied the msi file to c:\tmp.

Try to run this, and then post the logfile:

That was the affected Call, before i had only called Msiexec, so i can deploy to our users. But the other problem with oca-installation-helper exists. I need it to crypt the server Password or is there a alternativ?

Do you have a virusscanner that is acting up?

There ist no Antivirus installed and MS Defender is off

Ich kann das Problem nicht reproduzieren. Werden andere msi auf dem client korrekt installiert?

Ich habe die Gelegenheit genutzt, mal das opsi-client-agent.msi auf der download.uib.de zu upgraden. Es enthält nun opsi-client-agent 4.2.0.44-1.
