opsi-linux-bootimage 20191015-3 bootet auf einigen Rechnern nicht

Hallo,

seit dem Update bootet das Image auf einigen unserer Rechner mit relativ aktueller Hardware (i7-7700) leider nicht mehr. Beim Start kann wohl der OPSI-Service nicht gestartet werden. Was genau das Problem ist, konnte ich leider noch nicht analysieren, details werde ich bei Gelegenheit aber nachliefern.
Leider habe ich kein Paket mehr für das alte Bootimage (für ubuntu 16.04). Gibt es dafür irgendwo ein Archiv?

Okay, nach weiterer Nachforschung habe ich leider nicht viel gefunden. Auser dass der OPSI-service nach 5min in timeout geht. Das alte image 20190829 läuft dagegen problemlos durch.

Der einzig verdächtige Teil in den Logs ist folgender:

Das gleiche Problem habe ich jetzt auch auf einem Client, gibt da schon neue Erkenntnisse?

Ich kann diesen Fehker für eine HP Elitebook 820G3 bestätigen.
Ich habe im Moment mit einer älteren Boot-CD (https://download.uib.de/opsi4.1/boot-cd ... 190805.iso) das Problem umgangen.

Es würde Code im bootimage hinzugefügt um den timeout von dhclient zu beeinflußen.
Der sollte aber nur greifen wenn der bootimage.append Parameter "dhclienttimeout=INT gesetzt wird.
Interessant wäre jetzt der Log unter /tmp/log. Auch interessant was unter /proc/cmdline steht und der Inhalt von /etc/dhcp/dhclient.conf. Letzteres unter einem laufendem und einem fehlerhaften Client.

Hallo Mathias,

ich hab das Image nochmal gebootet. noapic, acpi=off und nousb hatte ich bei diesem client nur zum test angehängt. Hat in diesem Fall aber keinen Unterschied gemacht. Der Fehler kommt auch unabhängig davon, welches Produkt installiert werden soll.

Zu bemerken ist aber, dass der Client trotz des DHCP Fehlers eine Adresse kriegt (ich hab die logs über ssh gezogen).

Da gibt es einen Link zu einem aktualisierten Bootimage das den Bug lösen sollte.
Feedback natürlich sehr erwünscht.

Das kann ich bestätigen. Das neue Image bootet wieder erfolgreich.
