Hi,

I must restart the client for launch the instalation.
A solution exist for make a "live setup (without reboot)".
Best regards

Re: Live setup
Ehhh.. you mean you have to reboot the client to install a product? Yes, this is supposed to be this way.
There are other possibilities, like right clicking in opsi configed on the product to be installed, and click 'fire on_demand event'. The problem with this method are open files, running processess and user rights.

Re: Live setup
Thx for your reply.
It's recomended to let the installation after reboot if I understand.
But I've a problem with "shutdownwanted", I've already install it but when I right clic on "shutdown selected clients" I've a error : "Timed out after 15 seconds (timed out)".
It's realy strange.

Re: Live setup
Hello nirale23,
the shutdownwanted product does shut down a client when installations are done.
This has nothing to do with the shutdown from the right-click menu. This is a different operation.
Can you reach the client you tried to shutdown via ping?
Is maybe a firewall active that blocks port 4441 on the client?
Kind regards
