update certificate to internal MS cert server

I looked through the documentation for the steps to update the SSL cert used by the Config server but did not find a clear answer. I want to update our SSL cert to one from our internal cert server (windows cert server), but it looks like this would cause a problem for the deployed agents (about 530). Could I get some clear steps on the process of updating this?

I think that would not be a problem. The default is:
verify_server_cert = false
