... without uninstalling and reinstalling again opsi-client agent on pc?
I am getting IP addresses for installs from install pool; after install is complete I have to change the IP address and the name of client what causes no connection to opsi server.
Is there a easy way to this without uninstalling/reinstalling the opsi-client-agent?

is it possible to change IP address and name of client pc
Re: is it possible to change IP address and name of client p
Hi,
you can make the following steps:
change ip address
change hostname
rename client in opsi-configed
correct the host_id entry in local opsiclientd.conf
when you change the option "update ip" on opsiconfd.conf to yes, then the opsi-server will get the actual ip on the next connect from client.

Hallo,
thanks for the fast reply.
I have done what you've suggested. The problem is that when I want to push an installation to the machine whose name and IP address are changed, I get the message in Opsi console: "No JSON object could be decoded".
So, what more do I have to change, please
