Opsi-depot server for OpenSuse 11.3 not found

Beitrag von Sznefru »

Hi,

We would like to install a new opsi server with Opensuse 11.3. When i ran the comman: zypper -v install opsi-depotserver {opsi-configed}, the server not found the package.

I tried to find here: http://download.opensuse.org/repositori ... .3/noarch/ but it is not there.

Any idea?

Thanks!

I download it from the test repository( /repositories/home:/uibmz:/opsi:/opsi40-testing), but there is an error:

Hi,

sorry for the problems.

Our opensuse 11.3 repository at the opensuse buildservice was vanished (perhaps because of end of life).
We try to build it up again but there is still a broken package which is needed by opsi.

The good news is that the opem-suse 12.1 repository is nearly finished (see opsi-experimental).

So in short: we didn't deleted it and we try to fix it but this takes some time.....

Thank You for your answer!

What is your suggestion? Sould I wait for the 12.1 repository rather? Could you tell me please, when the satble (12.1) version will arrive (approximately) ?

Best regards,

if one wants to start with an new opsi server on open suse we recommend starting with Open Suse 12.1

Start with the testing version ( see wiki/open_suse12.1) and monitor the news (viewforum.php?f=10).

If you have any problems on Open Suse 12.1 with opsi so come back.

Hi,

So we started to install (/repositories/home:/uibmz:/opsi:/opsi40-testing/openSUSE_12.1) under OpenSuse 12.1 and i have a problem with python:

zypper -v install opsi-depotserver {opsi-configed}
Verbosity: 1
Non-option program arguments: 'opsi-depotserver' '{opsi-configed}'
Initializing Target
Checking whether to refresh metadata for opsi 4.0 - testing (openSUSE_12.1)
Loading repository data...
Reading installed packages...
Force resolution: No
Selecting 'opsi-depotserver-4.0.1.11-1.1.noarch' from repository 'opsi 4.0 - testing (openSUSE_12.1)' for installation.
'{opsi-configed}' not found in package names. Trying capabilities.
No provider of '{opsi-configed}' found.
Resolving package dependencies...
Force resolution: No

Problem: nothing provides /usr/bin/python needed by opsi-depotserver-4.0.1.11-1.1.noarch
Solution 1: do not install opsi-depotserver-4.0.1.11-1.1.noarch
Solution 2: break opsi-depotserver by ignoring some of its dependencies

Choose from above solutions by number or cancel [1/2/c] (c):

Thank You!

OK its working, thank you!

But there is a new problem at the client agent install:

When I'm installing the opsi-client-agent locally on the windows client (service_setup.cmd) then it's working.

Thank You

One more problem (maybe related the above one):

Any events (hwaudit, swaudit, opsi-adminutils etc.) at the ospi configed editor, that i would like to setup is not working:

Error message(at the client PC): Failed to process action requests: Failed to mount"\\odistrib\opsi_depot"(53,'WNetAddConnection2'.....

Hi,

- opsi-deploy-client-agent:

it seems that you need a other winexe (which ist normally linked to our stable repositories)
Perhaps you find a working version at: http://download.opensuse.org/repositori ... a:/winexe/

- mout error:
(re)set the pcpatch password
run
opsi-setup --auto-configure-samba
try again
