ProductGroup error - where to find "old" configed

Beitrag von Earwain »

Hi,

Forgive me the stupid question, but I'm still trying to improve my knowledge of Ubuntu...
I have learned on this forum that in order to get rid of the error:

"ProductGroup is not defined" and "method getClientsWithFailed_hash is not valid" is to revert to an older version of opsi-configed.

Unfortunately, after I remove opsi-configed, refresh aptitude and reinstall it, it still gets version 4.0.1.8 rather than 4.0.1.5
This version is also no longer in /var/cache/apt/archives

I can't find the 'older' version on the download.uib.de site either.

Am I overlooking anything? Can I, instead of installing the older configed version, upgrade any other of my OPSI installation to support the new methods, if so - how?

Thanks!

OK, thanks.

I was confused as

Code: Alles auswählen

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
did not upgrade the opsi-depotserver; the package was marked as "held back" by the apt-get

I entered

Code: Alles auswählen

sudo apt-get install opsi-depotserver
and this installed the right version of the packages.

Just wanted to share with the community!

The errors went away after that.
