Method to reload laptop when out of the office?

Hello,

Sometimes my users are away on trips and the Windows OS on their laptop gets corrupted and needs to be reloaded.

Could the ' preserve winpe partition ' partition be used to reload the laptop remotely, or some other way?

Ooh, yes, I'm interested in something like this as well.

Or is the obvious answer the local image backup? All fine and dandy, but images are large and SSDs are small.

what do you mean by "gets corrupted"? Windows totally broken? Or just some applications?
Is the problem more of a software or more of a hardware issue?

This is just the partition that usually houses the WinPE during the installation.

Do you want to re-deploy Windows to the client?
If so we may are working on something that could ease your pain.

Kind regards

Niko

Yes, I meant a way to re-deploy Windows when the user is away from the LAN.

Good to hear there may be a solution in the future.

As our solutions rely on the client being able to boot through PXE this may be harder than it sounds.
Usually PXE will not leave an local network.
