Re: Unable to install OS
Dear Team,
When i am trying to boot a fresh machine via a pendrive so i am getting this error.
"Backend I/O Error: Can not update DHCPd configuration for client" "My Client Name": IP address unknown and failed to get host by name ( Error on server)
And i have also another machine where client is not installed So my client machine is able to ping my OPSI server but my OPSI is not pinging to that client.
What will be the issue may occur?

Re: Unable to install OS
I think your problem is in dns. If you have no DNS-Entry for your client, your server is not able to determine a ipadress for that client. You have two options: Give your DNS-Server the needed configuration for the client or create your client in opsi with an ipaddress. Otherwise the opsi server can't make a entry for the client in the dhcp, because he has no idea which ipaddress should be given.

Dear Team,
I am unable to find the solution please send me the steps. I am new in linux.
and i am also not able to install client on already install windows machine.
Please help me for the same.
And one more thing do you have preconfigured iso image of OPSI server instead of (virtual OVF file)? so that i can install on physical machine instead of virtual box.
Regards,
Mohit
