Customize to corporate identity
The look of the software-on-demand module can be customized to the companies corporate identity. Therefore the
file opsiclientd.css has to be customized. It lies under:
c:\program files\opsi.org\opsi-client-agent\opsiclientd\static_html
It can be edited and then reloaded. The changes have to be copied to the server to remain with new opsi-client-agent
installations. Copy the CSS-file and perhaps a file with the companies logo to the server directory:
/var/lib/opsi/depot/opsi-client-agent/files/opsi/dist/opsiclientd/static_html
To avoid errors, we recommend to set rights after changing the configuration.

the new sod-client can also be configured.
Please refer to the corresponding chapter in the manual for more information on what and how it can be changed.

Hi, is it possible to categorize the software posted in software-on-demand? or possibly add a search box and search button ? Can't find it in the manual.

for categorisation you can use multiple product groups.

A search box isn't currently available.

you could include a keyword with the description of your software packages ; the fields 'description' and 'advice' of are being searched when entering keywords into the box, too.

The OPSI Client Kiosk solved the software category since it displays the product group included in the software on demand. I want to change the front page/main screen of the OPSI Client KIOSK. I was able to change the images for notifier but the home screen didn't changed.

if you have just changed the images on the depot you need to re-deploy.

For better help we need more infos about what you did.

Hi Niko,
I changed the images in the folder opsi-client-agent on the server but if I install the agent the images didn't take effect. I think it's getting the image somewhere else. Do I need to recompile the opsi-client-kiosk? Thanks
On figure 12.1 in the release notes, I want to change the #1 and the OPSI logo at the lower left of the new KIOSK GUI. Thank you.
