OPSI 3.4 problems on Vista

Hi,

I'm attempting to install OPSI 3.4 on a Vista client using the preloginloader (not PXE boot). I've done the following:
* Upgrade my server to OPSI 3.4, install the updated preloginloader package.
* Run service-setup.cmd as administrator on the client, entered the username and password, the machine rebooted

After that, OPSI configed shows that the client connects on each boot, I get this in the server log:

However, when I try to install something it never even tries to install it - the product stays with 'setup' as the action request no matter how many times I reboot the client. I see the following in the preloginloader.err:

Can anyone shed some light on this?

Hi,

the err-log file which you included is produced by the service-setup. It could be helpful to submit the complete log file c:\tmp\preloginloader.log. Hopefully it indicates if and possibly where and why the service setup failed.

At first sight, the log seems to be o.k.

Could you post the result of

dpkg -l | grep opsi

from your opsi server? There may be a version problem, the last line of the server log you sent is strange.

The list of opsi product packages seems to be o.k., but I do not know if the opsi Debian packages are completely updated, please send therefore the output of dpkg -l | grep opsi.

To upgrade, I did the following:
* Update /etc/apt/sources.list to point to lenny and opsi/3.4
* aptitude update
* aptitude upgrade

I do not know why aptitude is holding back some packages. Maybe you try an "aptitude dist-upgrade".
