Re: Joining Domain during OS installation
you can use the unattended.xml or (it think that is the better way) you can use one of the Domain Join OPSI Packages from the WIKI

Re: Joining Domain during OS installation
Hi again
We found this link:
http://www.unidesk.com/blog/joining-win ... mini-setup
I tried changing the options in the unattend.xml-file, but it doenst work.
Do i have to do something after editing the file, for the image to "update"?
If not, then i must have missed some kind of option.

Re: Joining Domain during OS installation
Hi,
copy the unattend.xml.template from the opsi directory into the custom directory and rename the file to unattend.xml in this xml file you can change what you want.
But be careful if you make a mistake your windows installation or/and the opsi-client-agent setup after the windows installation will fail.
Don't change something inside the opsi directory !

Re: Joining Domain during OS installation
Hi
I edit the file in /opt/pcbin/install/win7-x64/custom
Is this the correct location for the Unattend.xml-file for a Windows 7 x64 installation?
It is not working :-/

Re: Joining Domain during OS installation
The directory is correct....
because of those problems I prefer the way via an opsi package

Re: Joining Domain during OS installation
If i make the opsi package, can i then set it as a default for all PC's? So i dont have to manually add it to every one every time we need to format?
In the unattend.xml-file:
I can see that there is the option
Do you know if this option makes the installer save a logfile for debugging somewhere?
Best Regards

Re: Joining Domain during OS installation
Okay this is embarrasing >.<
Forgot to uncomment the "Microsoft-Windows-UnattendedJoin"-section of the unattend.xml-file..
Will try it now

Now it works
The computer installs Win7-x64, and joins our domain
