Hi.. I'm testing opsi.. it seems to be a great tool..
So I use DHCP in Windows Server.. there I set the bootserver to the opsi IP, and bootfile to linux/pxelinux.0, i created a client and want to install winxppro in that...
but when i try to start the client to boot via pxe i get:
Trying to load: pxelinux.cfg/(...)
Trying to load: pxelinux.cfg/01-08-00-27-69-BC-E6
Trying to load: pxelinux.cfg/AC105410
Trying to load: pxelinux.cfg/(...)
(...)
FATAL: No bootable medium found! System halted.
May you help me?
Thanks in advance...

Re: No bootable medium found!
did you set netboot-product action winxppro=setup?
(is there a named pipe 01-08-00-27-69-BC-E6
in
/tftpboot/linux/pxelinux.cfg/
)

Re: No bootable medium found!
It was the named pipe 01-08-00-27-69-BC-E6...
Now I'm having another issue..
When I try to load the installation.. a kernel panic happens..
Data integrity error when decompressing.
Kernel panic - not syncing: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(252,2).
Any suggestions?

Re: No bootable medium found!
Hi,
probably your system needs more memory to get the boot image running.

Rupert

Wondering who's using opsi? Have a look at the opsi map: http://opsi.org/opsi-map/.
