use for multiple seperate domains

Hi,
I'd like to use OPSI for multiple clients, from the same instance. Is this possible?
I see I can have multiple depots, but not sure if that is the way to proceed.
Can someone advise please?
Thanks,

Am not sure what you really want to achieve.
But, OPSI is not a multitenant system.
And, a depot is just a - somewhat dumb - repository for the OPSI packages (software, OS installations).
Computers, laptops, servers have to talk to the master/config regularily.
When you explain where you want to go, a more qualified answer might be given. (Sometimes a novel fits better than a short story)

Thanks Uncle Scrooge,
We're an MSP, and as such manage numerous client networks. all of them are different AD Domains, their own DNS, DHCP etc.
I would like to manage each network, from a single server. (we will be the only ones with access). or at least as few as possible.
However, I can see that I will probably need a depot at each physical site, if only to reduce bandwidth.
What I don't really want to do, is have to create an entire setup for each client.
Do you think this is feasible ?
Thanks again.

Hi,
i setup opsi standalone, not as member of our domain/directory.
I'm able to use it for multiple other Domains. The only thing is to hold the passwords in sync.
Bye

hi,
i am pretty sure a customer would be very happy if eg "his" M$ office installation would use "his" settings and not "your" or "some other ones" settings.
Handling eg these M$ Office Versions is much easier for each client separate than a allinone installation.
tbh
