Files in opsiclientd folder getting deleted

Beitragvon rootless » 21 Okt 2019, 12:31

Hello

I have an issue for a couple of months already where opsiclientd files get deleted on Windows 10 randomly (not all, some files are still there). It happens at random times to different computers. Only way to get it working is to reinstall the client, then uninstall it and the reinstall again. When i boot up the computer it is stuck before the login screen for atleast 5 minutes or so and then the opsiclientd service wont start and the files have disappeared.

I have added the opsiclientd log and picture of the files that are still there.

Anyone knows, what might be the cause of this issue? Only thing I can think of is Windows AV deleting the files for some reason, but why does it happen to only some of the clients then?

That looks as if someone has tried uninstalling OPSI-Client-Agent from Programs and Features without stopping opsiclientdguard first.
