the opsi boot image.

When a client is known in the opsi admin tool that it needs windows10 it should install without questions. (select windows images and stuff) at least for normal pxe boot this does work. (yust press f12 and the rest is automatic)

with uefi boot it loads up the opsi boot image and then i need to give in the laptop name and imae name and stuff. (i did select in the tool that this is an uefi client) also i select to install the image.

Hi

by default die bootimage reads those infos from the dhclient.leses file, which is automatically generated when the DHCP request got processed.

Check whats inside the file in

Code: Alles auswählen

/var/lib/dhcp/dhclient.leases

The dhclient.leases file exists on the client.

Ho Thomas

How can this be on the client? I am installing a client true opsi. Then this file should be written after installation?

Some more info,

When i create a normal client i see that a file is being created in "/tftpboot/linux/pxelinux.cfg" with the mac adres. If i create a new client with eufi enabled i dont see a mac file being created?

could this be the problem?
