Account to open a shell during client install

during the first part of a client install, is there a way to open a shell (the account pcpatch/linux123 doesn't work) ?

root / linux123
pcpatch / linux123 (wich worked a few years ago)
admin / linux123

if you want to login into the bootimage the default credentials are
root:linux123
