If I wanted to unattended install a Windows OS to a computer at a remote site that had no network connectivity, could I :
Deploy the Windows OS to a different model of computer here with winpenetworkmode turned off
Instead of uploading the correct drivers for the local computer, upload the drivers for the model of the computer an the remote site instead
Then ship the drive to site, technician installs the drive at the remote site, OS installs OK
Would this work?
Unattend OS install to computer with no network?
Re: Unattend OS install to computer with no network?
Hi,
from the technical point of view it is possible to include installation media, unattend.xml and drivers on a bootable PE USB-Stick and install the OS from this stick.
But opsi is not designed to do this for you.
