data_partition_preserve schlägt fehl

Beitrag von admin_ahn »

Hallo,

Win10-x64 Version 4.1.0.1-14

Es kommt bei allen Rechner die Meldung:

Code: Alles auswählen

Could not use the existing partition table on /dev/sda - but not allowed to delete it - stopping here

Vielen Dank schon einmal in voraus.

Gruß

Hi

Mathias

If you look at these lines in the log file, it gives a hint.
I can only guess to what's causing that. Are you switching to an UEFI install or have these computers already been installed with UEFI before?
And the total size of the installed hard drive is 250 GB, or is it bigger? Or does it have multiple drives somehow? Because I also don't see the EFI partition.

Beitrag von m.radtke »

Hi

Ignoring dataPartitionPreserve because number of existing partitions 1 is lower than the required system partition number 4.

Disk /dev/sda: 238.49 GiB, 256060514304 bytes, 500118192 sectors
Disk model: KINGSTON RBU-SNS
Units: sectors of 1 * 512 = 512 bytes
Sector size (logical/physical): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
I/O size (minimum/optimal): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
Disklabel type: gpt
Disk identifier: 557D21E6-4338-4CB0-B40F-DC731F022BC9

Device Start End Sectors Size Type
/dev/sda1 2048 204800 202753 99M EFI System
/dev/sda2 206848 468991 262144 128M Microsoft reserved
/dev/sda3 468992 1492991 1024000 500M Microsoft basic data
/dev/sda4 1492992 233736191 232243200 110.8G Microsoft basic data
/dev/sda5 233736192 500118158 266381967 127G Microsoft basic data

Schon mal danke.
