Dear opsi-users,

thank your for the feedback to the last experimental opsi kiosk client.
I integrated many suggestions in a new version:
By default with less buttons in order to be less confusing.
An expert mode checkbox shows leads to additional features.

You will find the new version at the well known place:
http://download.uib.de/opsi4.0/experime ... tkiosk.zip

This version has the same restriction for testing as the one from the last posting:
(viewtopic.php?f=1&t=9204)

If you find important Bugs - please post them here as answer.

If you want to help by the translation, you can do this here:
https://www.transifex.com/opsi-org/opsi ... ntkioskpo/

thank you and
regards

Good, this makes it less confusing.

Wouldn't it be better to resize the default to a larger window and always keep the detail panel?

I can't read the 'action request' radio button texts with tiles. They are there when choosing the list view.
Can the list view be set to default?

By the way, should it also read the config file opsiclientkiosk.ini in c:\Program Files (x86)\opsi.org\opsi-client-agent\custom\ ?
I can't get Comic Sans MS to work %-)

edit: BBCode is off, huh?

Hi Sister,

i'am starting from the bottom:
By the way, should it also read the config file opsiclientkiosk.ini in c:\Program Files (x86)\opsi.org\opsi-client-agent\custom\ ?
I can't get Comic Sans MS to work %-)
In this test version is the (relative path 'opsiclientkioskskin\opsiclientkiosk.ini'
In the final version the opsiclientkiosk.ini will be searched in the cutom dir of the client-agent.
But using the 'opsiclientkioskskin\opsiclientkiosk.ini' should work.
Wouldn't it be better to resize the default to a larger window
You may do this using the opsiclientkiosk.ini

I will think about a configure option to always keep the detail panel.
I can't read the 'action request' radio button texts with tiles.
Why not ? what is wrong ? to small ? may I have a screen shot ?!
Can the list view be set to default?
I will think about a configure option for this.

on any other problems: send a log to d.oertel(at) uib.de.

Thanks for testing and writing comments

cheers
d.oertel

Yay, I got it working. Now it looks like a SAP application (because of the comic sans)! ;-)

I will never understand WHY anyone would want this

Besides that: how do you like it?

There is a checkbox when writing / editing your post that enables you to set this to (in)active ;)
