uib will be this year for the first time together with his longtime Partner c.a.p.e IT on an 40 Square meter stand. The interplay of opsi and KIX is the basis for a solid Open Source Service Management. The data of your clients from Hardware and software inventory of opsi can be directly imported into the ITIL CMDB KIX.
New: WIM-Capture and opsi linux-client-agent
Have you ever had problems with "not packageable Software" or long waits when applying service packs after Operating system installation? Then the new opsi-tool WIM Capture will help you, and we will showcase it at the CeBIT.
The "WIM Capture" extension from opsi allows to create an image, that can be used as the basis for an automated installation. We will make available "WIM Capture" as a fee-based extension for opsi.
In addition, we will show new features for automated installation and management of Linux clients.
