Windows 10 Imagename

Beitrag von m.radtke »

Dear Opsi-users,

Microsoft releases new Windows 10 iso-images with build version 1511.
The Windows 10 netboot product has a property for the imagename. Intuitively you enter 'Windows 10 Pro N' or similar.
Unfortunately the currently released Windows 10 images have a 'Technical Preview' suffix in addition to the usual name, e.g. 'Windows 10 Pro N Technical Preview'.
This Imagename has to be entered into the property. As far as we know only build 1511is affected by this bug.
Therefore Windows 10 installations currently only work with MIcrossoft KMS-clientkeys. Afterwards the key has to be changed to your personal key, depending on your activation method (e.g KMS Server or the Activate-Win product)

For further information and a small how-to to find out the imagename please follow this thread:

Additionally you can find a new config-win10 package in our testing-repository http://download.uib.de/opsi4.0/testing/ ... localboot/
This product gives you the possibility to block the search for new updates and thus prevents unwanted updates.

Cheers
Mathias
