New opsi packages in 4.0.5 Testing

Beitrag von m.scalese »

Dear opsi-users,

Today we publish a series of updates for opsi 4.0.5
as testing.

With this release, the Support of opsi on Debian 8 (Jessie) will
be published as Testing.

In a nutshell, is hereby approved as testing the following:

OS packages:
Python opsi 4.0.5.19-1
opsi depot server 4.0.5.11-2
digitec-opsi-listener 1.3-1

opsi packages:
opsi-linux-client-agent 4.0.5.2-2
opsi-winst / opsi script 4.11.4.21
opsi-client-agent 4.0.5.4-5
opsi-4.0.5.8.1-1

Documentation:
http://download.uib.de/opsi4.0/testing/ ... ted-en.pdf

Notes for Debian 8 (Jessie):

The delay in the release of opsi Debian Jessie was
essentially the System-wide shutdown of SSLv3.

To fix this, you need an opsi-client-agent with
opsi-winst 4.11.4.21 (auto negotiation for TLS):

http://download.uib.de/opsi4.0/testing/ ... 5.4-5.opsi

or respectively
opsi-winst 4.11.4.21 (auto negotiation for TLS)
http://download.uib.de/opsi4.0/testing/ ... .21-1.opsi

for Linux clients:
http://download.uib.de/opsi4.0/testing/ ... 5.2-2.opsi

Other known issues:

The boot image has mount issues with the share opsi_depot per mount.cifs.
It seems (from the previous tests) that the above mentioned do not
emerge, if the winbindd is not running on the server.

Winbindd start disable with:
systemctl disable winbind
or
insserv -r winbind
