opsi Featurepack 4.0.2 Final Release, opsi Nagios Connector

Dear opsi-User,

today we release the new featurepack 4.0.2 as Final Release. This is the second featurepack-release for opsi 4.0.

Like the first featurepack-release (4.0.1) are the contents from the following published packages extensions and fixes for the old-release. The upgrade of these packages works like the normal package-upgrades over the known opsi4-Repositories. You can install and use these new packages directly without a migration like by a minor-Release.

With these packages the opsi-nagios-connector is declared as stable and can be used in productive installations of opsi. In addition to the opsi-nagios-connector, these packages includes bug- and securityfixes.

The following describes an overview of new features and enhancements in opsi 4.0.2:

The opsi Nagios Connector

This substantial extension of the opsi web service and the opsi client agent allows to connect the opsi managed windows clients and the opsi server to Nagios/Icinga monitoring services.
