Hi,

I want to image a Dell E7440.
Driver is in winpe.
However, i can't start winpe because the driver is not know in PXE.
Can anyone tell me how to add this driver in PXE?

Hi, Here we (still) use Zenworks from Novell. Since we migrate to ad very soon, Opsi will be the substitute for ZCM. I think in 95% Opsi is much better (and its cheaper!). Hoewever, a nice option in ZCM is Remote Control. Isn't it possible to integrate a remote tool in Opsi? I know I can use Teamvie...

I created a new office object...

opsi-newprod
Create script, copied files to CLIENT_DATA
opsi-setup --set-rights
opsi-makeproductfile
opsi-setup --set-rights
opsi-package-manger -i off2007_x.x.x.opsi

After that i couldn't see any files in /var/lib/opsi/depot/off2007

I understand this. But i don't understand why the installfiles, drivers and winpe are not copied to the new location.

Any idea why this happens?

Or do i have to run : opsi-package-manager -u pacakge.opsi?

Is the location changed from /opt/pcbin/install to /var/lib/opsi/depot?

Also opsi-package-manager -i doens't copy all off the files to the new folder.
I'm missing winpe, drivers, and installfiles.

Won't I get problems when i create a new opsi depotserver?

Yes, it is in /var/lib/opsi/depot. However, if i want to image a system i receive error bootmgr in winpe not found. And that is correct because winpe is also empty. When i run opsi-makeproductfile winpe is included (otherwise i couldn't create the productfile) UPDATE... When i manual copy the winpe,...

I know its asked before. But, i have no packages in /opt/pcbin/install. In fact, not even the folders /pcbin (and install) were created.
I tried this with Ubuntu 12.04, and 10.04.
Off course i runned opsi-product-updater -i -vv !

Whats wrong?
