Hello,
We're thinking of deploying opsi across at least 3 locations.
What is recommended to use as storage for the depots? Should we set up a distributed DFS share, or is it better to use local storage on each depot server?

Re: Unable to find drivers for PCI IDs 8086 A2BA, A2BD, A2A2, A2F0
8086:A2BA and 8086:A2BD are Intel Management Engine. I was able to download drivers from HP for Intel Management Engine for this computer, I thought I had already uploaded them but the directory was empty. Once I uploaded them to opsi and ran unattended they're no longer showing up as question marks...

OK, thanks.
Is there a way to see the output of 'show_drivers.py' in opsi-configed? It's nice to see which drivers are being assigned to what hardware.

Re: Black screen deploying Intel HD 350 Video card
When I boot the factory OS image I get a black screen also, so this doesn't have anything to do with my OS install. No monitors are being detected, using a DisplayPort to DVI-D adapter.

Black screen deploying Intel HD 350 Video card
I'm deploying an HP computer with a built in Intel HD 350 video card. I uploaded the driver, choosing byAudit. The workstation does an unattended install OK, but when it boots up the screen is all black, even though everything else is working. I'm assuming I should be doing this by doing it by uploa...

How does opsi compare with Windows Deployment Services / Workbench?
I need to deploy unattended Win7/Win10 installs across multiple locations.
Does anyone know what the advantages and disadvantages opsi has vs. something like Windows Deployment Services/Workbench?

Re: Getting 'answer file is invalid' after generating custom WinPE
I adding the chipset drivers, which removed the delay on the 'startnet.cmd' and 'Setup is starting' screens. I added the video driver, Windows booted up but there was only a black screen. I'll keep working with it, I'm assuming it's better to include video drivers than to auto-launch an installer af...

Re: Getting 'answer file is invalid' after generating custom WinPE
C:\Windows\Panther\setuperror.log showed: SMI data results dump: Description = Value is invalid. which led me to realize that the computer name was 17 characters long, way longer than the 15 character max. I shortened it to a 12 character name instead. I downloaded the latest PROWinsx64.exe from Int...
