Hello,
Does the open source version of Opsi allow deploying Windows 10 to computers with UEFI-only BIOS's?
Or does deploying OS with UEFI still require the purchase of a license?

Re: How to secure Opsi fileshares
Ok, I'm assuming I would set
winpenetworkmode
to false to prevent the WinPE install from trying to access the network share?

How to secure Opsi fileshares
Hello, Due to security concerns, we are not permitted to have any Windows or Samba fileshares on our network. I would like to be able to use Opsi for automated installing Windows via PXE boot, and then join my Windows domain when complete. Is there a way to set up Opsi to load Windows via SFTP or so...

Docker image for Opsi 4.2
Hello,
I'd like to have the flexibility to easily move my Opsi installation among different VMs or cloud environments in the future, so I'm looking at Docker. I see in the release notes that Opsi 4.2 will work with Docker.
Is there an official Opsi 4.2 docker image?

Multiple depots for OS installation only
Hello, I'm currently using opsi to install operating systems only, I don't use it to install any packages. I'm currently using opsi at one location only. I'd like to start using opsi at several locations to automate OS installations. What would be the simplest way to set up opsi to synchronize 'var/...

Re: Configed stuck on 'Load table product property'
I reverted the DNS/hostname changes and now the configed loads and operates normally again.
I haven't changed the -Dhttps.protocols setting yet. I'm already using configed 4.1.2.0.4 .

Configed stuck on 'Load table product property'
Hello, I changed the domain name in [configed.domains_given] in my /var/lib/opsi/config/config.ini . I also changed my default search, DNS servers, and domain in /etc/resolv.conf and rebooted. Now when I try to log in with configed the status dialogue gets stuck on: _____________________________ Loa...

Re: Change default domain name
I see this section in /var/lib/opsi/config/config.ini :
What does that do?
Code: Alles auswählen
[configed.domains_given]
defaultvalues = ["0:mbsnetinc.com"]
description = saved domains for creating clients
editable = true
multivalue = true
possiblevalues = ["0:mbsnetinc.com"]
type = UnicodeConfig

Re: No bootable devices found on Dell 5290 tablet
I ended up writing a Windows 10 ISO to a USB drive with Rufus, and loading Windows 10 on the 5290 that way. I think I should have called Dell, they might have had instructions on how to PXE boot: https://www.dell.com/support/article/us/en/04/sln300744/how-to-implement-pxe-booting-from-usb-c-and-thun...
