Getting 'Windows cannot install required files. ... Error code 0x80070570' installing Windows 7
I'm getting 'Windows cannot install required files. ... Error code 0x80070570' when doing an unattended install of Windows 7. I originally used the contents of a different Windows 7 DVD, which installed fine, but that didn't work with our licensing. When I switched to a different Windows 7 DVD I am ...

Workstation rebooted unexpectedly during opsi-agent uninstall
We just deployed an unattended Windows 7 installation. Since we're still using PDQ Deploy for distributing software, we uninstalled the opsi-agent. When we uninstalled it (via Programs and Features) the computer rebooted unexpectedly. Has anyone else had this happen, or is it set to reboot automatic...

Re: Unable to apply Windows license with DKMS server after unattended install with opsi
OK, thanks. Would this be deployed via the opsi-agent then?
I also realized I was using files from the wrong Windows 7 DVD, I'll try it again using files from the Windows 7 DVD that we normally use with the DKMS server.

Unable to apply Windows license with DKMS server after unattended install with opsi
Hello,
We've done unattended Windows7 installs OK, but we're getting an error when we try to license them with our DKMS server.
We haven't changed the unattend.xml yet, is there a keycode in there by default that would conflict with DKMS?

If I decommission a lot of workstations at some point, is there a way to prevent them from being counted?

How to calculate number of seats when purchasing cofunded modules
Hello, I see the prices listed here for cofunded modules: http://uib.de/en/opsi-cofunding/prices How is the total number of clients calculated? Is it by total number of client-agents registered with the opsi server, or is it by the number of clients that need access to that specific module (such as ...

Re: Distributed storage for multi-site deployment
I think SisterOfMercy is asking what everyone else is using to synchronize across multiple depots.
Am I correct that opsi-package-manager and opsi-product-updater synchronize configs and packages only, not OS files/drivers?

Re: Getting 'com.jcraft.jsch.JSchException: session is down' in configed upload driver screen
I figured it out, parts of my config had the server's FQDN but with the wrong domain name, so the DNS wasn't resolving.
I edited the config and corrected the FQDN of the server, now I'm able to see the output of show_drivers.py OK in configed.

Re: Distributed storage for multi-site deployment
Forgive me, I was meaning ask what storage is recommended for OS files/drivers to use with unattended Windows installs (not for the packages and configs)

How are the sites synchronized? Is it a cron job that runs a synchronization script?
