Re: Editing /etc/hosts-file

Thank you for the quick response :)

I have now created the package (might not be the prettiest code) and uploaded the scripts to the OPSI-wiki.

Editing /etc/hosts-file

Hello I am trying to create a new product-package that blocks certain websites from being displayed. I have read that the "easiest/best" way to achieve this, is to edit the /etc/hosts-file like such: 127.0.0.1 http://www.netflix.com 127.0.0.1 http://www.youtube.com etc... I need to create ...

Re: Win10-x64: Could not parse or process the unattend answer file

I will try that file :) What is the "correct" way to change the default properties (for win10-x64) for all clients? Should i just replace the variables in the unattend.xml-file with our own defaults? Can the defaults be changed (for all clients, also future clients) from the configed-gui? ...

Win10-x64: Could not parse or process the unattend answer file

Hello I am trying to update the installfiles for our "win10-x64"-package (from Win 10 1803 to 1909 ). After the update, I get this error during Windows 10 installation: Could not parse or process the unattend answer file [C:\Windows\Panther\unattend.xml] for pass [specialize]. The answer f...

Re: New Win 10 package unattend.xml

I think the problem was network-related (maybe it was unable to access the unattend.xml).

I solved the problem by loading network drivers to the win10-x64-ent-ltsb driver catalog.
I then changed the winpenetworkmode to false.

Installation now works.

Re: New Win 10 package unattend.xml

Hello Bardo

I ran this command on the Win10 Ent LTSB-installfiles:

Code: Alles auswählen

dism /get-wiminfo /wimfile:d:\sources\install.wim
Which returned:

Code: Alles auswählen

Windows 10 Enterprise 2016 LTSB
This information I added to the control-file.

We are using an KMS-server, but I can try to add a key manually.

Re: Opsi-Client service not running

3x times
  • Delete C:\opsi.org
  • Run service_setup.cmd
Seems to have fixed the problem.. must have been incomplete installs

Re: Uninstall addins before primary program

Thank you for the quick reply :)

Can you point me in the right direction for which method I should use?
I have only used OpsiServiceCalls one time before, to set another program to install based on a dependency.
