it was a prob of the product properties. The timezone values were not listed properly in the opsi controlfile (OPSI/control).
after correcting this, the product runs fine.

does anybody run swaudit after installing a package automatically ?
My workaround is to have a dependency, and swaudit running with very low priority.
uib say, the pre/post-action is not working right now. I run opsi4 on Centos5.
