I fixed my problem, so here's the answer in case anyone needs it.
When I added my linux machine to the domain, I had already installed and ran configuration for OPSI. When the config is run, it takes your current FQDN (fully qualified domain name) and add's it to some of the backend config files ...

Hi,
I have just setup a new opsi instance and am at the installation guide step to update the opsi products.
I use the following command : opsi-product-updater -i -vv
but I have the following error returned to me:
