Could this have something to do with the fact that I originally tried to set up the depot as webdav and not SMB?

Thank you for your time in looking into this issue. In my case the error was caused by a missing Dell Service Code in the BIOS. Once I entered the code on the case the inventory compleated without any issues. I am not sure if this helps the OP though
